Before moving to Exeter, Sue Caley lived in Totnes. Here she worked with a group of artists in Jeremy Scrines' contemporary art class and also attended regular workshops at Harbour House in Kingsbridge. Now living in Exeter,Sue works with The Abstract Group. Working with acrylic paint, colour is the main motivation for her paintings which are experimental and evolve as the paint covers the canvas. Sue explores colour, rythm and texture and her style can be painting with thin washes on raw canvas or thicker paint on primed canvas. Above all her work is abstract and expressive

Now living in Exeter Sue works with another group of artists in Patrick Jones’ Abstract Art Group at the Phoenix Arts Centre and has also attended workshops here.
Sue now works with a group of artists under the collective name of The Abstract Group (TAG)
